In recent years, Qingbaijiang District has been promoting the improvement of ecological civilization and has started the comprehensive renovation of urban and rural environment, the north Chengdu ecological barrier construction, the urban forest engineering, the industrial circular economy, the ecological agriculture and other important ecological projects. Currently, Qingbaijiang has already won the “National Ecological Civilization Construction Pilot Zone”, the “Demonstration District of National of Circular Economy”, “The Best Practice in Human Settlements of China”, the “Demonstration District of Human Settlements of China for Life and Work”, the “Pilot Zone of National Ecological Civilization Demonstration Project” and many other awards.
Tree-lined downtown area; a green urban road network with seven vertical and seven lateral lines has already taken shape; urban ecological green corridor of 10 km running through the north and south; urban green coverage rate of 48.01%. The industrial park is speeding up energy-saving technology transformation, implementing key energy-saving projects and low-carbon projects and forging a circular economy demonstration base, and the industrial development zone has developed into a national circular economy demonstration zone. The “Green Projects” like the revegetation of Mt. Longquanshan and the “100-Lake Project” have been under continuous promotion; urban modern agriculture is developing rapidly; a new way of integrating production into villages to build a new countryside has been found. In the government and communities, energy conservation and emission reduction philosophy have been widely accepted and low-carbon and green travel have become fashionable.
